We love smoothies and whip up these beauties as least once a week. Use banana, nut butter and water as a base and add your favourite fruit and herbs. By mixing nut butter with water, you get the most amazing nut milk – a whole lot cheaper than shop bought nut milk and free from preservatives. Feel free to play with colour, texture and taste. Our favourite combination is berries and mint.

- THE BASE
- 2 ripe bananas
- 3 tbsp nut butter
- 500 ml water
- THE FLAVOUR
- ½ - 1 cup of frozen fruit
- fresh herbs, superfood or protein powder - optional (check for hidden grains, soy, dairy and sweetener)
- Step 1 Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
- Step 2 Pour into a pretty glass and enjoy
