Who doesn’t like chocolate? This healthier chocolate dip is refined sugar and dairy free and the perfect dipping sauce for a fresh fruit platter or our vanilla and cinnamon apple crisps. By adding a little less water, you’ll get a smooth chocolate spread. The perfect alternative to Nutella. I normally only make a few tbsps of chocolate dip as it’s very moreish and high in fructose.

The main thing that sets maple syrup apart from refined sugar is the fact that it also contains some minerals and antioxidants. Maple syrup gives you a couple more nutrients but is loaded with calories and sugars and should definitely only be used in moderation or as an occasional treat.
