I always say balance is important and no one can be expected to be on a diet or have a squeaky clean diet 100% of the time . Life is too beautiful to constantly restrict yourself. Have that slice of cake, scoop of ice cream or glass of wine. Breathe, slow down, relax, spend time with loved ones, watch the sunset, walk barefoot, play with your children or grandchildren, laugh, be creative, read that book and smile.
I have compiled a list of my favourite 21 healthy (and delicious) snacks and treats. All the recipes are grain and dairy free and make use of natural sweeteners like dates, honey and maple syrup.
